Should I Email Hiring Managers While They're Still Deciding?

So I had final interviews for a position at my current company and one for an external company. I checked in with both recruiters, and they said that a decision would be made within the next week.

Would it be desperate to email those hiring managers so I'm back on their radar so to speak? I already emailed them after each interview.
