Hey Reddit, I'm currently a journeyman in locksmithing and low-voltage security field. I have quite a bit of experience doing it, but I am getting burned out of doing the work. I would like to to change over to more of an office or remote type of work, but am not sure where to even begin looking or training.
I have considered going helpdesk or IT by pursuing a CompTIA A+ cert and then progressing to Network+.
I am unsure if this would be a good start or even a good path.
I have no degree and only have vocational schooling related to my current field and some training in the Navy, but I am willing to go back to school at this point.
