Job is asking us to leave a 5 star review of the company after poor handling of employee matters less than a month ago

So i won’t go into detail (I have a post in my post history if you wanna read it), but basically less than a month ago major personnel changes happened at my job. People were fired and although the changes themselves were not necessarily crazy (some of the people did need to be fired) it was handled really poorly.

It left almost all the employees really upset (and management is well aware of this because we discussed it at a meeting), and overall hurt a lot of employees’ perception of the company (also mentioned at meeting so it’s not a secret).

Now less than a month later they’re asking all of us to leave 5 star reviews of the company.

Tbf, the work the company does—it does well.

But in regards to handling employees and employee matters—yikes. People are still pissed.

They’re not pressuring us to do it (and no one has done it), it’s just funny to me that this came up so soon after all the craziness lol
