Had 3 interviews with a remote, entry level position and each went great. I’m currently at the “final step” which is going to be a background check. I only have a misdemeanor, and it’s unrelated to anything which would affect my work or their company.
My question, along with completing the consent form, is should I follow up with an email shedding light on what happened? It’s my only ever offense, and is currently in the process of being expunged.
