unemployment is up to almost 12% where I live and one of the minimum wage jobs I applied to had 144 applicants and another had over 400, if these are typical of all jobs right now then against those kinds of odds it feels like I'm never going to actually work again, if I can't even get retail work right now how am I supposed to not eventually wind up on the street?
