So I've made a few posts here and i am very grateful for all the advice i have gotten over the last monthish. so now both job options seem like they want to move forward on similar time tables. one asked about salary vacation and start dates/ giving 2 weeks notice (with a new hire orientation on the 30th) so if they offer they'll want to do it soon(?) But i have also been called about an internal posting i had posted for earlier (honestly I'm surprised it moved forward at all) interviewed and hadn't heard back until this evening (while external one has been in pretty consistent contact), the catch they want to do a third interview with "final candidates" and will have an answer by monday/tuesday. both positions are good promotions but i don't want to skip one for the other/burn bridges. should i reach out to the external one and ask them to see if they can give me some kind of commitment? hold off until I know more from this final interview/ possibly receive an offer? i fear i have made a grave mistake. any help is greatly appreciated.
