I have a mild cognitive disability and a psychologically tested IQ of around 80. School was always extremely challenging for me but I want to have a successful career. I’m looking at taking a customer service job for $16 an hour and figure if I stay there 2 years or so it’ll look good on my resume and help me get the next job step up. Am I off base or can that work? My dream is within 10 years to make around 66-70K at a remote position as I can’t drive due to my disability. Is that being too ambitious or hopeful?
