Good evening. Looking for some job advice. I have worked with my company for almost 4 years. Started as a debt at $17/ hr plus commissions and crushed it. Grossed $52K first year. I negotiated a pay increase to $20/hr and continued to crush it and grossed $72K 2nd year. Got promoted to Team Lead at $22/ hr, took on a special project, expanded that program, administered it, and produced over $1M in 2019. Grossed about $80K (including Overtime). Now here's my problem. I lobbied to become a supervisor throughout the year and the opportunity is here. A supervisor of 15 years was furloughed and my manager offered me the job. An 80 cents per hour raise to $22.80 per hour, salaried- no overtime, responsible for 9 agents, with a commission potential of $2K per month if the team greatly exceeds expectations. I would max out at $72 but with a ton more responsibilities. Am I being hosed? Would I be "ungrateful in the current economic situation" for asking for more money?
