Resume Repetition: What do you do when your resume repeats itself?

I have held the same job at two companies. In this role there is a set of core responsibilities that any person would have no matter what type of organization/industry they worked for (e.g. If I were a cashier, it would be similar to listing that I handled cash, operated a register, and provided customer service)

Today I was updating my resume. Noting that consistency is key, I organized my responsibilities similarly for each role. Because the core responsibilities of both jobs matches up exactly, the first two bullets / three lines are exactly the same for each role.

I would really love to gain those three lines back so that I can expand on new responsibilities in my current role instead of just repeating what is listed right below in the job description for my previous job. Is there a "right" way to do this, or am I stuck with having these responsibilities listed under both jobs?
