Just told my manager that I’m gonna quit

Been with the company for almost 2 years. Brought in revenue more than the sum of other 3 people in the team but only got a petty 2.x% raise. (not a sales position so no commission). Found another job that gives me 75% more salary. Prepared a long speech to say before throwing the bomb to my manager.

Me: I got an job offer from a company that I really wanted to go. Manager: I’ll be sad to see you go, but you gotta choose what’s the best for you. Manager: Let’s make a transition plan. Send me a formal resignation letter.

That’s it. I’m really not as important as I thought.
