I interviewed and now it's decision day...

Good morning!

I recently applied for a role at an SME. I had an interview for the role on Wednesday and that went relatively well (if you remove the nerves!) I was told during the interview that the last interview for the role was Friday (today) and that they would let me know by the end of Friday (Today).

I have been communicating via email with the company during the process and have direct contact with the interviewer.

My question is, would it seem desperate, if i was to email him this morning and reiterate my appetite for the role before he makes his final decision or would it show that i was a serious candidate?
