I want to make some money before I start grad school, but I'll only be able to work for 6-7 weeks. Is it worthwhile to apply for jobs?

I'd like to save a little bit of money over the next 2 months and apply for jobs. However, will hiring managers actually hire me to only work a couple weeks? I'm just talking about run-of-the-mill jobs such as CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or a sales associate literally anywhere. Thanks in advance!
