Two weeks into a job and I get a better offer...how do I handle this situation?

I started a new job tutoring last week. It's only casual and doesn't offer a lot of hours but the pay is decent. I have $5 of pay left after paying rent so not ideal financially but it was a better option than unemployment. Most of my co-workers are fresh out of high school and for them this is their first job. Most of them are really brainy but don't know how to teach. I have a bit more life experience and so find that I have to take on a little bit more in the role because they aren't up to it. The works not bad but it was always going to be a short gig until something better came along. Thing is something better came along quickly and I've been asked to start a full-time job as a lab tech next week. I don't want to put the kids I'm tutoring out but I think I need to quit immediately. What's my best option here?

UPDATE I always planned to take the lab job, that's no question, I just am not sure how best to quit the other position without letting people down.
