Hi, So I have a problem. I have worked a job as real estate agent from March 2014 - February 2015. And then I worked as gardener for family friends for 3 months over the summer (2015) to earn money for college. I started college in Sept. 2015 and also started a new job in Sept. 2015. My problem is that I mentioned the job as RE agent and then I have a gap of 7 months that I know doesn’t look good. At the same time, I don’t want to mention the gardener job because it has nothing to do with what I want to do and the family friends are no longer family friends so my possible employer couldn’t even verify that I worked there. So should I leave the 7 month gap and hope that they will just ask me what I did in between and I can tell them. Or should I delete the RE agent job and include the gardener job to get rid of the time gap in my résumé. Or should I just mention my last two jobs which are neither the gardener or RE agent? But two jobs look a little slim, no?
