I've got a friend that has a bachelors in psychology. She now works in mental health as most of them end up doing. Absolutely hates it and her company seems to treat their employees like absolute shit. Without getting a masters she says she cannot find anything else. Looking outside of the field does not seem to be working either, albeit I'm not sure what or how much she has done outside of psych/mental health. Does anyone have a similar experience with options? We live in Florida if it matters. I'd like to help because mentally its killing her and I hate to see her this way. Any ideas or input at all would be great. What are some good professions she good change to/get a job in that would not require more school? Are there other jobs besides mental health/case management that she can look into? I work in IT so this is completely foreign to me as I'm constantly getting asked to work somewhere else from jobs sites and linkedin.
