Got a degree in film, but have very little skills or experience, how should I approach finding work?

So I have a degree in film, but made zero connections in school and have been living the NEET life due to mental illness since I graduated (about a year and a half ago). On top of that, I managed to get into only ONE production class. The rest was theory, history, etc. So, I at least have a degree, but I have almost no skills. I have a rudimentary understanding of Final Cut Pro. I have basically no work to show a potential employer. I've only had one other job, years ago for a few months doing manual labor.

I'm a very solitary person (also have high functioning autism). The idea of working on a set is not appealing to me. If possible I'd like to work in editing, where I can be left alone most of the time. I don't care about working in the film "industry" per se. In fact I think I'd like to avoid it, but I do enjoy editing about as much as one can enjoy work. So whether it's for a hospital, or a business, that's fine with me. I love film as a medium, but I can't say I'm passionate about filmmaking, for the simple reason that there have to be too many cooks in the kitchen for my tastes. This is why although I love film, I personally prefer music/writing as my creative outlet. The only filmmaking I could see myself enjoying would be Brakhage style structural filmmaking, or some other kind of avant-garde style where I appropriate others' footage.

Do you have any suggestions on what type of work I should try to pursue? At this point in time I don't particularly care about a "career." I'd just like a decent paying job to move out on my own. The things I'm passionate about are unlikely to make me any money, so I just want a tolerable, decent paying day job. Should I even bother with working with film/video? Are there any other jobs that might value someone with a film degree that allow a degree of solitude and independence?
