Hello all, I live in the high desert of CA in a rural location so jobs are limited but there are some out there. I have been unemployed since September. I am 22 F. The only job experience I have is working at a poll, and 2 summer seasonal positions as a seafood processor. So I am used to standing long hours and rather bad work conditions (cannery work is cold and wet). But I am totally adaptable and I look forward to normal work conditions. I love greeting people and meeting others in the community.
I have sent applications to a few local businesses, Family dollar, dollar general, Shell gas station, local restaurants etc. I call them back and let them know I sent in an application. Still nothing. Am I missing something here?
