This job offer seems sketchy. Could use some help and advice to see if it's a scam or a prank by someone.

Hi guys. Fresh out of college here and applied to a bunch of places. One was from craigslist and the poster replied the same night to when I sent my resume. He said they don't do interviews and that to just come in on thursdays to mondays and start working. Also just told me to speak to the head chef that I applied. I don't want to go there and just embarrass myself when I go to the restaurant and just say I applied and was told I can just start working. Isn't it legally required by employers to interview and fill out paperwork for people theyre hiring?
