Getting a Job with Experience

Everyone knows how hard it is to get your first job out of college with little to no experience? It took me almost a year before landing an entry level position.

Since job searching is heavily skewed against new job seekers lacking experience, I wonder how hard it is for those with a few years of experience? Is it a walk in the park or is it just as bad? What are your experiences?
