I’ve been working through this company’s hiring process for almost three weeks now. It is for an entry level sales and client support position. The company manufactures and sells commercial LED lighting products and has some pretty major clients/projects.
I’ve had one phone interview with the HR rep, an in-person interview with the HR rep, and a second in-person interview with two members of upper management and a VP who joined via video chat. I think all the interviews went well, especially the last one. I believe I particularly hit it off with the VP, who oversees the department I’d be employed in. I come from a telecommunications background, as does he.
Today, the HR rep emailed me and asked how my “meeting” went with the managers and VP. I replied that it went well, they had great questions, and we covered a lot of ground. She quickly emailed back saying that they’re “working out some details on the next steps” and she’ll get back to me as soon as she hears something.
I’m torn because I think they may be preparing an offer. But it certainly could be another interview as well. During the first interview, the HR rep did tell me that they have a longer hiring process and they want the cream of the crop. Again, this is an entry level position. Would another interview be the likely outcome of their next communication, or do you all think I may be getting an offer? Thanks!
