I interviewed for a financial analyst position. I thought it went very well, (the financial manager said you are the sort of person we are looking for, you have the right attitude for this company, etc) and the company was supposed to get back to me in two weeks. Two weeks later, no news, so I emailed the financial manager a follow-up. No reply, does this mean a rejection?
Why are companies so rude that they won't even reply a candidate who follows up on his/her application, and what could be the reason behind a rejection after a good interview? Usually I can tell if an interview went badly or so-so, but this was not the case at all. This is all very confusing and extremely frustrating.
