I had a coworker who I had believed as my best friend at work. In fact, she had been trying her best to pulling me down by ruining my reputation and putting edges between me and other people at work. When I found out that who was behind all my trouble, I was shocked.
I didn’t do anything so I thought that it was very unfair for me to be in all those troubles. Moreover, I couldn’t understand why she did all this.
She was jealous. She was insecure. She was inferior. I never thought that those factors would affect me. Pulling down someone to make yourself to be up. It’s a dirty play but one of the social strategies.
This opened my eyes. I now have better understanding with the people who have negative feelings such as jealousy, inferiority, insecurity, deprived.
I thought that such a dirty play is a strategy for jealous/insecure/inferior people who lacked professionalism and feeling of pride in themselves. However, recently I found out that one of my coworkers, who I admire for her knowledge and professionalism, in fact, also plays this dirty strategy against her manager, whose position she’s eyeing on.
I learned that the society is a jungle and I have to fight to survive every moment.
