I applied for a Starbucks barista position inside a Macy’s. I went to their website and signed up there and I was suppose to submit a video responding to some questions. I was about to do it today, but I got a text from someone asking when I could do a phone interview. They didn’t text what store or location they were and it looked like they were using a personal phone number. They did say it was for an open barista position though.
I’m just a little confused. The job was posted 3 days ago and I found out about it from Glassdoor. I didn’t even post my video responses yet. Is this common?
I also listed the days and time I was available for the interview, and they chose the earliest date they could. Seems like they’re in a hurry to hire but I’m not sure…
