I want to work with the deaf/hard of hearing, what careers are out there and what kind training do you need?

Ever since I was 11 or 12, I have always wanted to work with those that are hard of hearing or deaf. I’m hard of hearing as well and always wanted to work with people like me.:

However, besides interpreting, I’m not sure what else may be available in terms of careers.

Those that work in the realm of this particular disability: what do you do and what kind of training did you need?

I’m 26 so heavy schooling or long degree requirements isn’t necessarily an option for me.
