I was a contractor for a large tech company and it was honestly the worst job I’ve ever had. The people were nice and I made a couple of friends but the job itself was mindless.
The long story is I applied for a “full-time, non-contracted” position for my job with the company TWICE and never got hired so the second time they didn’t hire me I quit on the spot. The first time they hired every contractor except me. I should’ve quit then. The second time they chose a contractor who was there for less than a year over me. Months later I found out I was paid at least $30K less than other contractors and regular employees. I was pretty pissed.
Anyway, has anyone else ever had a bad experience like this? It was my first job out of college too but I was definitely overqualified to copy and paste content onto a website.
