What is considered bad in terms of job tenure (3 months? 6 months? 1 year?) when considering switching jobs?

I'm in the IT industry. My college professor told us (in 2017), that in our generation, the average tenure is 2 years for a person in a company (then they move on to another company). But still, what is considered bad in terms of job tenure when considering switching jobs?
