Is it worth finishing my liberal arts degree if I’m not interested in going into that field? I’m at the start of my junior year in film production at a “top 10” film school. Any unrelated degree success stories in the business world?
I’m not 100% sure that I’m not interested in my field anymore, I just phrased it like that for the sake of the question. I came to school for film production because I got the most scholarship money here and I kept getting “follow your passion” advice. Im just now realizing I somewhat like finance or sales better but it’s too late for me to change my classes this semester, drop out for a refund, or realistically to even change my major for next semester. What should I do? Can I get decent jobs in those fields with any degree? My resume at the moment would be this degree, three different part time internships/jobs in film production/journalism, a collectibles selling side hustle, and some experience in retail and service at stores and a hotel.
