My guy has been without a job for a bit now. He was a manager at a quick oil change place and switched jobs only to find the new job had an owner that was abusive and I supported him getting out ASAP. At that point he had a second interview and felt like it was likely he'd get it. They never called him after that and when he calls he gets a robot. Since then he's applied to a bunch of places mostly to do with cars but he also has retail and food service experience. He isn't sure what he wants so he's applied to whatever he's qualified for and has yet to even get one call back. I'm wondering what the top reasons would be for not getting any calls? Is it a resume issue or he's just not finding the right things? (I'm not going to give him any advice unless he wants it but I'm hoping to find out just in case he needs anything)
