If I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from university and would like to work as an Administrative Assistant. Do I still need to go to college for Office Administration ????

I am a 25-year-old male who is set to graduate from university next year. I would love to work as an administrative assistant. The job duties and expectations seem so clear and structured as the job itself is somewhat repetitive and straight forward. However, I worry because I am a male who is thinking about entering a field that is female-dominated. I'm in Canada by the way.
