Did multiple interviews with 2 different companies for internship positions. Got an offer for both. Declined one and I feel like the HR rep was a bit agitated. I declined shortly after getting the offer but I realized that I really wanted the other one after comparing. They seemed annoyed on the phone but still polite, but I feel like I burned the bridge there when that wasn’t my intention. Should I send an email apologizing or just let it be? I was nice and apologized on the phone but I just feel like I can never apply there again now.
There are other companies doing the same work out there, but I did like the company and the people I met. I really was hoping to keep the door open for the future, but I don’t know what to do now. I am young and inexperienced in professional work, so I am hoping for some advice.
