About 3 months ago I left a job after 8 ish months after being told I basically had no opportunity for growth at that location despite the fact that I have years of experience doing this. I left that job to go work with the old supervisor from this same location that would not promote me who left on bad terms, but thought highly of me. They hired a friend of mine for the supervisor position instead, after me giving this friend a ton of advice, meaning I know everything needed to get hired but was not able to make the connections for it.
The supervisor who hired me at my new job left, leaving me in a position I ended up hating, where my pay is going to be lowered at the beginning of the year.
However, a similar position to the one I wanted opened up at a neighboring location of the same company, I think I may be able to get the position because i have all of the skills and knowledge required, but now I’m in a place where I need to explain this job hopping because they’re definitely going to ask this an expect a good answer.
Is there any good answers I can give to help me get out of this situation?
