Does Indeed post old jobs as new?

I applied for a job a month ago and will have my final (and 3rd) interview soon. Indeed posted the very same job yesterday again and marked it as new.

The job posting doesn't have a reference number but the text is 100% the same with the one I applied to. The job posting also is still up on the employer's website but no info on posting and due date.

Is indeed just recycling old job postings or did the employer really repost the job?
