I joined a company a few months ago and had one other coworker in my department, as well as our boss who was the director for our department. My boss quit and we don’t have plans to hire a replacement yet because our CEO said there could be an opportunity to fill his role internally. If I were to take on some of those responsibilities, would you expect I should get promoted and/or get a raise? I don’t think I’m at my boss’s level but I want to help myself grow in the management realm. Thanks!
