Hello! I'm a freshman college student majoring in Computer Science looking for a remote job with flexible work hours due to my college classes. The issues is, I have absolutely no work experience (outside of a contract, remote job for a start-up company that I don't really count, as it was a very disorganized workspace for a company that hardly even exists).
I have software engineering experience (mainly Java, Python & JavaScript) as well as technical skills. I learn rather quickly and adapt quite easily. However, I lack in interpersonal skills. Although I can be very benevolent, open-minded, and patient, I have difficulty when it comes to people that would cause a problem (e.g. narcissistic or arrogant people). I also have the tendency to not be able to explain things well, or not get to the point when speaking. This leads me to believe I'll have a lack of many job opportunities, as most of the remote jobs I have seen are primarily customer service or related?
Based off of this information, what do you recommend is the type of job I should look for? My goal for a job is to be able to eventually move out of my parents home and into an apartment (which is a reason I am looking for remote, so I can properly remove without having to worry about work relocation).
