So I (31 Male) live with my partner (28 Female). I am coming off unemployment and have to find a job. I want to work from home but want to know the best skills to focus on to help me do so. I really am like a lost puppy when it comes to what I need to do. I dont have much money, my parents are helping me by paying my rent for 1 year with the exception that me and my girlfriend maintain utilities and other bills like internet and phone and gas and groceries.
Can anyone give me advice on what skills I should focus on? I love technology but don't have anything to show for it although im willing to understand how. I want to benefit from what I have. I dont want to bust my ass working at a warehouse or McDonalds I would rather learn more skills with computers. Should I learn to code? Should I learn data entry? Where should I learn these things? Do I need to go to school? Should I just watch YouTube videos? Should I invest in Skillshare?
I believe in myself, I just need someone to give me a bit of advice how to apply myself. Im intelligent and just need to know how to go about giving myself the right skills to utilize myself so I can benefit myself and my partner so we have some sort of security. Please any advice and criticism would be very much appreciated
