I’ve been through a lot in the past two years. Being in a job where I was harassed and felt threatened, which the manager did not address properly. I’ve been laid off from another place due to pandemic issues, and then the loss of my grandpa which set me back a bit for a few months. Dealing with all of this with uncertainty of employment was bringing me down so much that I feel like I changed a bit.
The past few weeks I’ve been applying to tons of applying everywhere.
I was called today that the municipality would like to offer me a FT position! Even though it is a contract, I’m so excited to bring back more recent experience on my resume and also do such a good job that they have no option but to bring me back!
On top of that, I have another interview scheduled with the federal government. I hope that goes well and I can be in a better spot to take care of my loved ones!
Right now, I have a big exam coming up so I’m preparing for it. No time to waste!
But I truly can’t wait to get to work!
