I was hired as a car detailer for a commercial dealership but have steadily been asked to do more and more (i.e. painted bumpers/parts of vehicles, touched up vehicle body paint, raptor lined classic and vintage car interiors, sewed up some torn upholstery, etc).
I’m having trouble coming up with what to charge for those services beyond simple detailing but in addition to that I’m now being asked to essentially renovate large buses and turn them into conversion vehicles. This includes tearing out anything inside the van/bus, putting down underpayment, cabinets, and whatever else is to be installed. Has anyone done this before and what is a fair amount to charge for this?
