Hi guys,
I have been working at my current job for a year and some change now.
My mom just came to the states to visit (haven’t seen her in 2 years). I do not have a regular work schedule, I work 12+ hours a day and late hours (8:30 pm).
My boss is an absolute bitch, selfish, greedy—u name it. I asked for a vacation, she refused and then told me (the max I could take off was around 8 days (thats with weekend and labor day).
All I wanted was a flexible schedule, one where I can work from home while being with my mom.
Anyways, I am thinking of emailing and asking to extend my vacation (or go on temp leave) until October 1. My mom is visiting a chiropractor here 3 times a week for her back issues, and I want to be with her. The plan is I try to extend, and if that doesn’t work out, I resign (I go to hell and back at this job being severely underpaid and work long hours).
Can you guys help me write an email on how to extend? Thank you!!!!!
