Okay so this a weird one. I recently had two interviews with a company and was told I did great on both. My only ask was that my pay be kept the same as it is now. When the company reached back out to me after the interviews I was told that while I did awesome and they would love to hire me they couldn’t pay me what I was asking, because of lack of experience. (I have the experience but my title never reflected that) For reference it was only a 2-3 dollar difference. My reposes was that was “that’s Totally okay. I just didn’t want to be making like 10 dollars less.” And the manger I was speaking too that point got super excited, and said that she would call the district manger and let him know what was going on since he had to make the offer, but he was currently taking meetings at HQ for the rest of the week and might be hard to get ahold of. So the next day I get call and she says she still hasn’t gotten ahold of him but she was trying. That was Thursday and I still haven’t heard back from either of them. So like what should I do now. I’ve called the DM directly and left a voice mail. But I’m starting to feel like I’m getting ghosted, am I just freak out for no reason? Is this normal? Help!!!
