The company I just started with several months ago raised the starting wage for certain job roles. Some of the roles are food service while other roles include pharmacy technician, lab sterilization, medical assistant ect. My starting pay was below what the raise is but any employee in one of the included roles will get a raise. So my pay will increase. I have a certification/ license for my current position so am I out of line to ask them to increase my pay more than what they are already about too? I don’t think I’m better than anyone else but if all the basic level job positions are now going to be making the same amount as some positions that have certifications I just want to know if it’s justified to ask to an additional increase? Please help
