Budtender job requires cannabis knowledge. Can someone explain to me what exactly I would need to know?

This probably isn't important but I did actually take a class on drugs and drug use in society, which went through the history, including the history and discovery of cannabis, it's usages, both medical and recreational, it's chemistry, etc. Basically, even if I don't have the kind of knowledge they need, maybe it wouldn't be challenging for me to do research on, if possible?
