Wife got fired for drinking on the job.. how to spin this in job search

Throwaway yada yada… my wife got fired from her restaurant manager position at a corporate fast casual restaurant for drinking at work, no real proof, she’s getting help, sober now, still needs another job. She was a model employee aside from this admittedly massive lapse in judgement. How should she address this in interviews/application process? Obviously she can’t use this employer as a reference but their corporate policy is to not give out references anyway. She has old references that are ok but not very solid.
