Has anybody requested their Sterling Background check before?

I just finished the background check for my new employer through Sterling, and both HR and Sterling say the check is complete and clear. Yet when I email them, they tell me it might take 30 days for me to receive the report.

Is 30 day wait standard to receive a report? I'd like to use the credit report to apply for an apartment and I'd rather not pull a second hard check for it.
