I'm applying for jobs and haven't told anyone at my current job except the three people I asked to be references. One of my current jobs I'm applying for (and the best looking one) requires three references with one being a supervisor. They then text a survey to my references to fill out. Two of my references responded right away and the one who's also a supervisor has not. I had my Zoom interview yesterday and she said the next step is getting the last reference to respond so I know I have to text her. However, since I haven't talked to anyone about leaving this job since the initial asking if I can use them as a reference, I'm really nervous to reach out in case she refuses to respond or gets upset at me despite saying I could use her as a reference. Any tips on how to text her and ask her to fill out the survey while remaining professional but also letting her know it's urgent?
