I'm in a really weird situation regarding two different jobs and could really use some help in determining what to do. I am about to graduate from college in May and was interviewing for jobs at the end of 2020. I was interviewing with two different companies (call them company A and company B). I ended up getting an offer from company A, and didn't hear anything back from company B within a couple weeks, so, thinking company B was no longer an option, I signed with company A.
Fast forward to two weeks ago when I get a call from company B saying that a position opened up and that they were giving me the offer. I told the recruiter who called me that I hadn't heard back when I interviewed months before and it turns out that the recruiter I was working with back in December had left the company which is why they had not gotten back to me the first time.
Anyway, given my curiosity, I open the offer letter and see that they're offering me a 50% higher salary than company A as well as a pretty significant signing and relocation bonus. Fast forward to this week and I have emailed and called the recruiter because I wanted to ask some questions, but I have gotten no responses at all.
I'm confused about what is going on and what I should do in this situation. Also, company B is a very reputable company in tech, so maybe the recruiter is really busy right now...I'm just not entirely sure what to think. Anyone had a similar experience?
