I'm currently a freshman girl in high school in the US, and I have no idea at all what I want to do with my life and it's kind of freaking me out. Some things about myself and what I don't want to do in a job:
I don't want a repetitive job, for example my dad has a desk job and it seems like he does the exact same thing every day
I don't really want to go to school for a super long time, so I don't think I want to be a doctor
I love the outdoors, I go hiking all the time, I backpack, mountain climb, and I snowboard
I want a job that makes a decent amount of money, as I like outdoors and want to be able to buy nice camping supplies
I have good grades, all a- a and a+, but my parents want me to go to a state college, so idk if that changes anything
I don't want super long hours (my mom is a doctor and sometimes doesn't get home till 7 or 8)
I want something that allows me to have a pet, it's my dream to have 2 dogs, but I want to be able to give them the best life possible and not put them in a cage for extended periods of time (I don't currently have any pets cuz my family hates animals)
So yeah, I have no idea what I want to do with my life, and I'm looking for advice. Does anyone have a job that fits my description? Also, if you do have a job, what type of classes does that entail? (Next year I can personalize classes) Thanks so much!!!
