Bullet Points:
- my wife has a second interview for a dream job company
- Problem: The company's office is in Colorado and we live more than a few states over. If this job cannot be done remotely, my wife has another job option that she can take locally. However, this CO job pays much more and would be for an amazing company.
- Background Info: in her first interview, my wife mentioned that she was "open" to the possibility of moving to Colorado if needed, but asked if "working remote" was a possibility.. they mentioned that "ideally" the job would be done in the CO office, but they didn't entirely dismiss the idea of working remote
- The fact is, they know very well that we would prefer to not move to CO, and yet they still offered her a second interview, which tells me maybe they are more open to the remote situation than we thought
Question: how should my wife approach/answer the subject of working remote, if/when it comes up in this second interview? What other suggestions would you offer? Thanks.
