Experience with rude or mean interviewers?

I’ve had my fair share of interviews in my lifetime but today I had my first negative experience. I had applied for a job in agriculture when my experience is more wetland and biology related but the job duties entailed similar things to what I’d done before, just with agriculture instead of biology and wetlands. I knew it was a stretch that I’d be qualified but I figured I’d apply anyway and see what happens. So I get an interview and think they must have liked my resume and they can teach me what I need to know.

Start interviewing over zoom today and the woman interviewing me was fine to start with but when she asked me about my agriculture experience and I said I had none but was willing to learn, she got quiet and asked if I knew anything about GIS. Again, no but I went on to explain my biological experience and how it relates to the job. She then asked me why I was talking about wetlands when this job is about agriculture. After that she was very short and rude with me, basically saying that if I don’t know about agriculture then why am I here. This really irked me because she’s the one who emailed me for an interview without reading my resume it seemed.

Then she said they’d set up a second interview because they were very busy in the office, after talking to me for 10 minutes. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I’ll be declining the second interview. Has anyone else dealt with rude interviewers like this?
