I'm so fucking lucky to had been offered 2 jobs in less than a year. I was an intern at a big company and they offered me a full time position. The thing is that I didn't like the job, was very bad at it and no one explained me shit (my manager was a no show) so I left for another company that offers financial services.
The position was for a junior and they knew I don't have much knowledge in the area (I studied BA so i know just a bit) and my problem with this job is that it's been 2 weeks and I've been working every day for at least 10 hours. It stresses me out because it's very technical and in the interview they didn't tell me anything of this (and they also didn't ask how much I knew). I make a lot lf mistakes, most of the times don't know jack shit, stay up very late, can't spend time with my family or friends. The team is great, they are willing to help a lot! But this job is taking my life. It doesn't help that I started my Master's in Finance this week.
Everything is a mess now and I'm overwhelmed. I just don't know what to do with anything right now. Of course I'm not going to quit (I'll be marked as a job hopper) but if I had known that it would take this many hours of my life I would have never taken this job. I clarified in the interview that I was doing the Master's and they said that "yeah you will have plenty of time for that". Yeah, right... I see that almost everyone in my team works very late
