I mean, I’ve heard about people being hired and never getting put on the schedule, or signing an offer and it being rescinded.
I signed an offer two days ago, did my drug test yesterday, and was told to expect a call Monday or Tuesday if the background check and drug test results are in.
Can I consider myself “good”? Am I not good until I’m on a schedule, or until I fill out the direct deposit info or until I’m actually clocked in?
I don’t know if I should keep applying places, and I don’t want to get my hopes up that an offer means anything when companies keep changing things and reducing labor because of covid. Was part of a mass layoff covid situation from my last job so maybe I’m just overthinking it. :(
